Hearty, nutritious lunch served five days per week to anyone in need.
Our Hot Lunch program is not just a meal; it is a chance for people in need to be connected with our other services and programs and other community resources. Hot Lunch is often the point of entry for community residents seeking assistance. While sharing a meal, community members begin to build a support system for themselves that is often missing for people in poverty.

Ambassador Volunteer Program
Community volunteers perform duties at Paul’s Place and in the community to learn job skills and respond to community needs while earning points toward essential bill payment. The Ambassador Volunteer Program is geared toward individuals who are recovering from addiction, seeking employment or returning to the work force, senior citizens, or on SSI.
Program participants apply for the position as they would for a job – they fill out an application, have an interview with the Ambassador Coordinator, and, once “hired”, go through one month of probation. Upon entering the Ambassador program, participants meet with our Director of Programs to develop personal goals and strategies for implementing these goals. The Ambassador Coordinator assesses the participants’ skills and interests and assigns jobs appropriate to their abilities.
